Main Features
1. Reliable Modular Spring Operating Mechanism: The spring operating mechanism features a vertically arranged design, offering both manual and electric energy storage capabilities. The compact overall dimensions of the unit ensure excellent structural rigidity for the circuit breaker, while maintaining consistent operational performance at all times.
2. The electrical circuit adopts a sleeve-type structure: The vacuum arc extinguishing chamber of the circuit breaker’s primary electrical circuit is housed within a sealed insulating sleeve. The insulating sleeve is made from epoxy resin, a material with reliable electromechanical properties, and is formed using advanced APG technology. This insulating sleeve not only provides support and mounting functionality but also serves as insulation between phases and to ground.
3. Standard Make-and-Break Function Modules: The modular design of the spring mechanism is another distinctive feature of the VS1 indoor vacuum circuit breaker. The spring operating mechanism comprises two major function modules—make and break—and boasts advantages such as convenient maintenance, quick replacement, and short outage times for repair. In addition, since the make-and-break function modules used as spare parts have all been specially lubricated with grease and properly adjusted, and they enjoy an exceptionally long shelf life, there is no need to readjust the entire operating mechanism of the circuit breaker after replacing the make-and-break modules—without altering the circuit breaker’s dynamic characteristics, thereby significantly reducing the workload associated with maintenance and repairs.
4. Excellent hand-cart interchangeability and adaptability; installation dimensions are compatible with series products such as ZN85 and VD4.
5. Strong breaking capacity and long service life.
