The S20 series fully sealed oil-immersed transformers feature low losses, low noise, and zero pollution. They are suitable for outdoor (or indoor) installation and use, making them ideal distribution equipment for extensive transmission and distribution networks in factories, rural areas, and urban settings. The product’s design and manufacturing processes strictly adhere to the International Electrotechnical Commission standards IEC 60076-1~2:1993, IEC 60076-3, 5:2000, as well as national standards GB1094.1~2-1996, GB1094.3-2003, GB1094.5-2008, GB/T6451-2008, and GB20052-2020.

This product series eliminates protective devices such as oil conservators and desiccant breathers, ensuring that transformer oil does not come into direct contact with air. (Under normal circumstances, transformer oil can be used continuously for 20 years without any treatment.) All sealing components in this product are made from acrylic rubber gaskets that offer excellent sealing performance and outstanding oil resistance. In addition, a pressure relief valve has been added to further enhance the safety of transformer operation.

2. Ambient air temperature: -25°C to +45°C, with an average temperature of ≤+30°C during the hottest month.

3. Environmental Humidity: Monthly average relative humidity ≤ 90%; daily average relative humidity ≤ 95%.

4. Pollution Level: Class III.

Main Features

  1. By using high-permeability grain-oriented cold‑rolled silicon steel sheets and adopting an advanced 45° fully staggered lap joint core structure, no‑load losses can be further reduced.

  2. The oil tank is constructed with corrugated walls; this design not only facilitates heat dissipation but also allows the tank to “breathe” in response to the thermal expansion and contraction of transformer oil, automatically compensating for changes in oil volume. As a result, the transformer does not require an oil conservator, achieving a fully sealed design.

  3. The vacuum oil filling process completely isolates the transformer oil from air, preventing moisture absorption and oxidation, thereby significantly extending the transformer’s service life and eliminating the need for regular oil sample testing.
