The VS1-12 indoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker with an insulated cylinder is an indoor switchgear designed for 50 Hz, 12 kV AC power systems. It serves as a protective and control unit for grid equipment and power equipment in industrial and mining enterprises. This device is suitable for frequent operations under rated working current, as well as for applications requiring multiple interruptions of short-circuit currents. Its vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is housed within an insulated sleeve, providing superior heat dissipation performance.

This circuit breaker features an integrated operating mechanism and circuit breaker body design. It can be used as a fixed installation unit; by adding interlocking devices, it can meet the requirements of fixed switchgear such as XGN2 and GGIA. Alternatively, it can be equipped with a manual drawer mechanism to form a handcart unit for use in KYN28 middle‑mounted switchgear. 
The circuit breaker can be equipped with an electric chassis to meet the requirements for one‑click sequential control, making it suitable for use in unmanned, intelligent substation construction projects.

Main Features

1. The VS1-12 high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker has its main components housed within an insulating cylinder made of epoxy resin via the APG molding process. This design effectively protects the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber from external factors such as mechanical impacts and environmental contamination.

2. The circuit breaker is equipped with a ceramic arc-extinguishing chamber, copper-chromium contact material, and an R‑shaped contact structure. It is characterized by strong breaking capacity, low current chopping level, and long electrical life. 3. The vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber is housed within an insulating cylinder, giving the circuit breaker maintenance‑free operation, zero pollution, no risk of explosion, low noise levels, and high insulation performance.

4. The spring‑stored‑energy operating mechanism is integrally arranged with the main body, offering high transmission efficiency and excellent operational performance. It is suitable for frequent operations and can be installed in withdrawable or fixed switchgear.

5. This vacuum circuit breaker features stable operational performance, high breaking capacity, a reasonable design, and convenient secondary wiring, making it highly suitable for power grid operation in China.
