Product Overview
The SMC power metering box is manufactured using SMC unsaturated polyester glass fiber reinforced molding. This power metering box boasts excellent performance, including superior sealing, corrosion resistance, anti-tampering features, and the advantage of not requiring a grounding wire. It features a sleek, aesthetically pleasing exterior, is equipped with lock and lead seal protection, and has a service life of over 40 years. The product is widely used in residential construction and residential power renovation projects, and can be fitted with prepaid electronic meters. Available in sizes ranging from 1-meter to 12-meter meter boxes, these boxes come in a full range of styles and offer multiple functions, such as internal meter installation, secondary protection, individual household switching, wiring terminals, and external control switches. They can be directly mounted on walls or installed on utility poles, and users can operate the switches directly from outside the meter box.
Operating Environment
1. Ambient air temperature: -40°C to +60°C, with an average temperature of ≤+35°C over a 24-hour period;
2. Environmental Humidity: Annual average relative humidity ≤ 75%; monthly average relative humidity ≤ 95%.
3. Locations free from highly corrosive gases, strong magnetic field interference, and intense vibration sources; free from significant dust, smoke, corrosive or flammable gases, water vapor, or salt contamination.
Main Features
1. SMC aviation composite material is an excellent insulating material that boasts high performance and insulation resistance, preventing electrical leakage. It is ideally suited for use in confined or narrow spaces, helping to avoid electric shock incidents involving the enclosure of electricity metering boxes.
2. SMC power metering boxes exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, and their surface is coated with a protective layer that boasts exceptional UV resistance.
3. The SMC power metering box is a poor conductor of heat, featuring a low thermal deformation rate and excellent insulation properties that minimize the impact of ambient temperature fluctuations on the interior of the metering box.
4. The SMC power metering box is made from flame‑retardant materials, with a flame‑retardant rating of FVO and a smoke density index of 15.
