The S13-M·RL series of three-dimensional core oil-immersed transformers breaks away from the traditional planar design and adopts a three-phase symmetrical three-dimensional structure. Main Features

1. The core adopts a three‑phase symmetrical three‑dimensional structure. The layered, three‑dimensional wound core features no interlayer joints, ensuring uniform magnetic flux distribution throughout the magnetic circuit with no prominent high‑resistance zones. There is no distortion in magnetic flux density at joint locations, and the direction of magnetic flux is perfectly aligned with the crystal orientation of the silicon steel laminations. Moreover, the lengths of the three‑phase magnetic circuits are exactly equal, resulting in complete symmetry across all three phases and highly balanced no‑load currents for the three phases. Thanks to the use of this specialized three‑dimensional structure, the amount of material used in the yoke portion of the core is reduced by 25% compared to traditional laminated cores, while the angular weight is also decreased—accounting for roughly 6% of the total core weight—thereby lightening the overall weight of the core.

2. Because the iron core has no joints, it experiences minimal vibration and generates very little noise.

3. The coil is wound directly onto the iron core, which not only enhances the coil’s strength but also improves its anti-theft performance.

4. The structure is compact and occupies a small footprint; the unique three-dimensional core design ensures a tightly packed, rationally arranged product configuration. The planar footprint of the transformer body is reduced by 10–15% compared to conventional products, while the overall height is lowered by 10–20%. When installed in a packaged substation, the volume of the substation can be reduced by nearly one quarter.
