The KYN28-12 armored, withdrawable AC metal‑enclosed switchgear is a complete indoor distribution device rated for 3.6–12 kV three‑phase AC at 50 Hz. It is widely used in substation locations within power supply and distribution systems, as well as in switchgear rooms and distribution rooms at industrial and mining enterprises, commercial plazas, and residential communities. It can also directly control the frequent start‑and‑stop operations of 10 kV equipment.

Product Overview

The KYN28-12 armored, withdrawable AC metal‑enclosed switchgear is a complete indoor distribution device rated for 3.6–12 kV three‑phase AC at 50 Hz. It is widely used in substation locations within power supply and distribution systems, as well as in switchgear rooms and distribution rooms at industrial and mining enterprises, commercial plazas, and residential communities. It can also directly control the frequent start‑and‑stop operations of 10 kV equipment.

This switchgear complies with the requirements of standards such as GB/T3906, DL/T404, and IEC-298, and features a dual-redundancy design that provides both mechanical “five-protection” and electrical “five-protection” functions.

When configuring electric hand carts and electric grounding switches, they can be used in the construction of intelligent substations, enabling remote control throughout the entire process for operations such as switching the switchgear on and off, manually inserting and withdrawing circuit breakers, and opening and closing grounding switches—while simultaneously providing real‑time feedback on the switchgear’s status to a remote location.

Operating Environment

2. Ambient air temperature: -10°C to +40°C;

3. Environmental Humidity: Monthly average relative humidity ≤ 90%; daily average relative humidity ≤ 95%.

4. Saturation Vapor Pressure: Daily average ≤ 2.2 × 10⁻³ MPa, monthly average ≤ 1.8 × 10⁻³ MPa;

5. Seismic intensity ≤ 8 degrees;

6. Locations free from fire hazards, explosion risks, severe pollution, chemical corrosion, and intense vibrations;

Main Features

1. The cabinet structure is fabricated by assembling multi‑folded aluminum‑zinc coated steel sheets.

2. All operations must be performed with the cabinet door closed.

3. High protection rating, preventing the entry of debris and pests.

4. Simple “five-protection” interlocks to prevent misoperations;

5. It can be equipped with a VS1 (ZN63A) vacuum circuit breaker, or a VD4 vacuum circuit breaker can be selected according to the user’s requirements.

6. The circuit breaker is easy to replace, and the handcart has excellent interchangeability.

7. The cabinet can be installed against a wall, with front-access maintenance, reducing the floor space required.

8. The cable room offers ample space and can accommodate multiple cables.

9. The rapid grounding switch is used for grounding and circuit shorting.

10. The circuit breaker room, relay room, and cable room can each be equipped with heaters according to user requirements to prevent condensation and corrosion.

11. The circuit breaker room and cable room can be equipped with lighting devices according to user requirements to facilitate maintenance and inspection.
